China

With a presence in China since 1992, Adamas is historically the holder of the oldest licence granted to a foreign law firm by the Chinese Ministry of Justice.

For nearly 30 years, the firm has accompanied China’s opening up to foreign investors and has assisted countless French and European companies in their establishment and projects. Adamas has two offices of its own in Beijing and Shanghai and, thanks to cross-partnerships, operates in some thirty cities in China, thus covering the most important areas of the Chinese territory.

Our mixed French-Chinese teams are composed of experienced lawyers who speak French, English and Chinese, and our French partner has been present locally for more than 15 years. Some of our partners are also arbitrators for Chinese international arbitration institutions and are very involved in French institutional organisations based in China.

The firm has specialists covering all areas of law. In particular, our teams are involved in all issues relating to business establishment (creation of companies), commercial contracts, the protection of intellectual property rights, labour law, but also in litigation and business criminal law.
