Quentin Untermaier has been a member of the Lyon Bar since 2014. He advises on issues related to environmental law, urban planning and development law. He assists local authorities and private operators, in particular on aspects related to environmental assessment and public participation procedures.

He also handles cases involving issues relating to classified installations (ICPE), waste law, polluted sites and soils, water and hydroelectricity police, nature protection, coastal law, in both advisory and litigation matters.

Quentin Untermaier teaches environmental law as part of the Master’s Degree in Bioassessment of Ecosystems and Biodiversity Expertise (BEEB) at the Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University and as part of the Master’s Degree in Risk and Environment at the Lyon 2 University.

He also provides training in environmental law as part of the initial and continuing education of student lawyers and lawyers at the EDARA law school. .
